Hello Neighbours,

Just a few quick updates this week as framing continues. Backfill is finishing up and should be completed today or tomorrow, which will allow us to remove one of the large machines. The other machine will remain until the District completes the water and services hookups, at which point we’ll do a bit more digging to connect everything on our side.

With the backfill completed, we’ll have more space on-site, which will help with work vehicle parking and deliveries. We’re having a large sign (4’ x 4’) printed to help new tradespeople and visitors find appropriate parking and reduce congestion in the cul-de-sac. I’ve included a copy of the sign below in this email.

In addition to lumber deliveries, we’re expecting a gravel delivery later this week (or early next). This gravel is for our temporary front driveway to help with parking.

Framing is going up quickly (as you may have noticed), which is exciting! We’re looking forward to having the initial framework completed within the next two weeks.

District of North Vancouver Services Connection **This item is something that’s done by the District’s work crew. We’ve been told they will provide notice before starting work. This will involve cutting up the road to connect new services to the home.
